Sri Lanka, Jan. 15 -- A defining milestone in Sri Lanka's digital payments journey was celebrated at Cinnamon Life recently, as Commercial Bank of Ceylon marked the completion of 100,000 Google Pay transactions within just six weeks of launching the service in Sri Lanka for its Visa cardholders.
More than a numerical achievement, the milestone underscored the rapid adoption of secure, contactless mobile payments and the growing confidence of consumers in a cashless future, the Bank said.
