Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- The price of gold in Sri Lanka has dropped by Rs. 2,000 compared to yesterday (28), according to market data.
As of this morning (29), a pound of 22-carat gold at the Sea Street Gold Market was priced at Rs. 294,000, down from Rs. 296,000 yesterday.
Similarly, the price of 24-carat gold has decreased to Rs. 318,000 from Rs. 320,000 recorded the previous day, market sources said.
