Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- Five members of a major Sri Lankan criminal gang including Kehelbaddara Padme and Commando Salintha have been arrested by Indonesian security forces, Police said.

The arrests were made during a joint operation carried out by the Sri Lanka Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Interpol.

It is reported that Panadura Nilanga, Backhoe Saman and his wife, as well as one other person were also among those arrested.
