Sri Lanka, Nov. 18 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate that the investigation conducted by the CIABOC on the alleged corruption committed by former Badulla District Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dassanayake to the tune of Rs. 1 million of public funds belonging to the Uva Provincial Council, has been concluded and that the Commission would take action to indict the suspect before the Colombo High Court.

Since the investigation had been completed by the Bribery Commission, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Boderagama put off further inquiries for February 20 and ordered the Bribery Commission to inform court on the progress of the investigations.
