Srilanka, Nov. 8 -- The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has revised the maximum loan-to-value (LTV) ratios applicable for vehicle leasing facilities. According to the new guidelines, the maximum leasing percentage for commercial vehicles has been set at 70%, while the maximum for private vehicles has been limited to 50%.
Previously, in July, the Central Bank announced four separate LTV categories: 80% for commercial vehicles, 60% for private vehicles, 50% for three-wheelers, and 70% for other vehicles. Under the latest revision, these have now been simplified into two main categories:
