Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- The Sri Lanka Electricity Board (CEB) trade unions will commence the third phase of their ongoing trade union action at midnight on Sunday (21), Sri Lanka Electricity Board Technicians' Association Chairman Kosala Abeysinghe told the Daily Mirror.

He said the phase will continue until the 24th, after which further action will be decided. "We have warned this government to listen. This is a response to the arrogance of the minister and the director general in particular. But if the president continues to respond in the same way, we will be compelled to escalate matters further," Abeysinghe warned.
