Sri Lanka, May 30 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has reported a total of 29,015 power outages across Sri Lanka as a result of the prevailing adverse weather conditions.

In a statement, the CEB said that restoration work is currently in progress in the affected areas, with repair crews deployed to speed up recovery efforts.

The CEB has called on the public to assist by reporting outages and safety concerns through the CEBCare mobile application or by calling the 1987 hotline.
