Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe has received an 'A' grade in Global Finance magazine's Annual Central Banker Report Cards 2025, a recognition that comes as the Central Bank of Sri Lanka marks its 75th anniversary.

Global Finance, which has published the rankings since 1994, evaluates nearly 100 central bank governors worldwide on inflation control, currency stability, interest rate management, economic growth and political independence. Grades range from 'A+' for excellent performance to 'F' for outright failure.
