Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- Cargills (Ceylon) PLC recently announced that Asite Talwatte retired from its board, having previously served as the Senior Independent Director of the company until April 2024, and subsequently as a Non-Independent Director.
The Board of Directors of Cargills expressed its deep appreciation to Talwatte for his invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the company.
Talwatte also functioned as the Chair of several Board sub-committees of the Group including the Audit Committee, Related Party Transactions Review Committee, and the Remuneration Committee.
