Sri Lanka, April 13 -- The driver who drove the car very dangerously on the Southern Expressway (E-01), was remanded till April 22, the police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He was arrested by the Expressway traffic police division yesterday and produced before the Panadura Magistrate court.
"The other four who were travelling in the car seated on the sedan's door have been identified and their names and addresses were traced. A special police team has been deployed to apprehend them," the spokesman said.
He said the registered owner of the vehicle came to the Colombo police traffic division yesterday and his statement was recorded.
