Sri Lanka, Dec. 16 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to issue two commemorative stamps celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
The stamps, featuring historical sites from both countries, aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote mutual goodwill between the peoples of Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
As part of the initiative, the Cabinet also approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sri Lanka Postal Department and the Saudi Post Corporation to facilitate the joint issuance of the stamps.
