Sri Lanka, Nov. 27 -- Party leaders are to meet at 2.00 pm today to decide on postponing the committee stage debate on the budget due to adverse weather conditions, Minister Samantha Vidyaratne said.

Minister Vidyaratne told Parliament that party leaders decided to meet following a request by some MPs to postpone the debate so that they could attend to disaster relief.

He said the adverse weather conditions are turning to the worse as per forecasts of the Meteorological Department.
