Sri Lanka, July 28 -- A broker was arrested today by the Bribery Commission while accepting a bribe near the Department of Motor Traffic in Narahenpita.
The suspect was caught during a raid while receiving Rs. 10,000 at a shop on Gajaba Mawatha, located next to the Motor Traffic office. He had allegedly demanded a total of Rs. 30,000 to amend a motorcycle's secondary registration certificate based on the original registration.
He is scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate's Court.
