Sri Lanka, Nov. 24 -- A brawl broke out in front of the Hotel De Plaza in Kollupitiya last night, police said.

According to the Police Media Division, officers rushed to the scene following a call made to the 119 emergency hotline.

Several individuals were had been injured and admitted to hospital.

The cause of the altercation is yet to be ascertained and investigations are ongoing.
