Sri Lanka, Dec. 18 -- Branding Sri Lanka as a new tourist destination is underway with tenders having already been called for proposals, Minister of Tourism and External Affairs Vijitha Hearth told Parliament today.

"We have already begun a dialogue with all stakeholders regarding a fresh branding of Sri Lanka. We will continue with it despite the exercise being a costly one," the Minister said.
