Srilanka, Nov. 12 -- Sri Lanka today launched a pilot project to deliver national birth certificates directly to citizens through the Sri Lanka Postal Courier Service, the Department of Registrar General announced.
The initiative was inaugurated at the Gampaha District Secretariat under the patronage of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government Minister Chandana Abeyratne. It represents a collaborative effort between the Registrar General's Department and the Postal Department to enhance the secure and efficient delivery of official documents.
