Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- A tense situation continued in Parliament after Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake called opposition MPs 'Lapai Sipai' and opposition MPs started a protest against him.
The Opposition MPs urged the leader of the House to withdraw his statement.
The Speaker announced that he has ordered the words to be expunged from the Order Paper.
Minister Ratnayake said the Opposition MPs often use unparliamentarily language on the Speaker and that they never withdraw such words.
