Sri Lanka, May 9 -- It has come to light that certain advertisements circulating on Facebook are offering unusually high salaries to individuals with no prior experience. These ads, often quoting daily wages ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000-vastly exceeding the national average of approximately Rs. 4,000-are likely designed to mislead unemployed individuals in search of opportunities. Disturbingly, some of these ads misuse official logos of government institutions and state-owned banks, giving them an appearance of legitimacy.
