Colombo, July 5 -- Vehicular traffic on the Hunnasgiriya-Meemure road has been temporarily suspended due to an emergency situation reported during the renovation work of the Kaikawala bridge.

The Kandy District Secretary advised people not to visit Meemure for excursions or any other requirements until further notice.
