Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- The authorities of Lakvijeya Power Plant showed reluctance to allow the Opposition MPs to enter the plant together with journalists but showed some kind of flexibility after they explained the situation.
MP Ajith P. Perera explained the importance of their visit and stressed that the country and the government should be informed of the situation.
"We need to inform the nation and the government of the situation pertaining to coal. We don't intend to do anything bad," he said.
Also, he said the MPs will inform Parliament about the situation pertaining to coal.
