Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Governor General of Australia, Samantha Joy Mostyn, will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from August 6 to 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism announced.

During her visit, the Governor General is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

She will also visit Australian-supported development projects in Bandaragama, Mirissa, and Weligama.

The visit is aimed at further strengthening Sri Lanka-Australia relations and exploring ways to expand cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
