Sri Lanka, Dec. 1 -- The Australian Government will provide AUD 1 million in humanitarian assistance to support Sri Lanka's response to Cyclone Ditwah, the Australian High Commission announced on 30 November 2025.
The funding aims to support the urgent delivery of essential services to communities affected by flooding, landslides, and damage to homes and infrastructure across Sri Lanka. Australia will collaborate with humanitarian partners, the United Nations, and local NGOs to deliver on-the-ground assistance and rapidly respond to urgent needs.
