Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Around 200 applications have been received for the post of Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan Airlines, Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku told Parliament today.

He said the number of applicants have been shortlisted to 75.

MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, who raised the question on the national carrier, said the application sent by former CEO of Papua New Guinea national airline has been rejected by the government.
