Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- Former Ministry Secretary and Director General Anusha Palpita has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The arrest was made in connection with his alleged failure to disclose the source of income amounting to Rs. 46 million.

Palpita appeared before the Bribery Commission today (23), where his initial statement was recorded. Following this, the Commission proceeded to arrest him in relation to the investigation.
