Srilanka, Feb. 14 -- Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today questioned in Parliament as to what action the government had taken to prevent another power disruption.
"There can be another power disruption any moment while it is said that there is a wide possibility of another breakdown on Sunday as well, when the demand increases. We would like to ask the Minister of Power and Energy to make a statement on thus in the House," Premadasa said.
Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake who responded said either the Ceylon Electricity Board or the subject Minister may come out with a statement regarding the issue shortly.
