Srilanka, Jan. 31 -- N.B.M. Ranatunga has reportedly resigned as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA).
Ranatunga had been appointed to the position on October 10, 2024.
He is the third individual to step down from a high-ranking chairmanship position since the current government assumed office.
Earlier this week, Ramal Siriwardena, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), also resigned.
Last month, Dr. Senesh Bandara stepped down as Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC).
