Sri Lanka, Oct. 14 -- The annual commemoration of the father of the nation The Rt. Hon. D S Senanayake for the 36th year was held at the Senanayake Samudraya Inginiyagala Ampara District on September 30 and October 01. Clergy representing all religions participated, and an alms giving was offered to Buddhist priests to bestow merit to the late leader of the nation.

Senior Government Officers, Members of Commemoration Committee, Tri forces, the police and grateful farmers participated.
