Sri Lanka, Nov. 10 -- A 19-year-old student who was sitting for the Advanced Level examination in Biology this year died suddenly at her home in Dambulla.

The deceased has been identified as Tharushi Chamodi, a resident of Dambulla.

Police said the girl had been studying in her room last night (09), and when she had failed to wake up in the morning, her parents had gone to check on her.

She was found unconscious in her room and was rushed to the Dambulla Base Hospital, where doctors confirmed that she had died before being brought in.

A team of officers from the Dambulla Police visited the residence and carried out inspections but reported that no suspicious circumstances were found.
