Sri Lanka, Dec. 12 -- Nearly 1,000 anti-drug operations were conducted across the country yesterday under the 'Ratam Ekata' nationwide crackdown, police said.
According to police, 997 suspects were arrested in the coordinated raids, while 13 others were referred for rehabilitation.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 332 grams of heroin during 347 heroin-related raids, along with 851 grams of 'ice' discovered in 385 related operations.
In addition, police recovered 7 kilograms and 468 grams of cannabis, and uncovered 11,569 cannabis plants across 195 separate raids.
