Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 9-hour water cut in Colombo on Thursday, September 18.

Water supply will be suspended from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in areas covering Colombo 01 to Colombo 15.

The NWSDB has advised residents in the affected areas to store adequate water in advance and to take necessary precautions.

The public has also been requested to cooperate by conserving water during and after the interruption.
