Colombo, April 21 -- A total of 820 Dansals have been registered within the Kandy city limits in conjunction with the exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Chief Municipal Medical Officer of the Kandy Municipal Council Dr. Pasan Jayasinghe said.

Dr. Jayasinghe said that the number of Dansals has increased in response to the growing number of devotees attending the event.

Last night, Dansals were organized by the Kandy District Secretariat, the Sri Dalada Maligawa, and the Kandy Natha Devalaya to serve the devotees.
