Sri Lanka, March 22 -- At least 35 people were injured when two Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses collided head-on in the Dummaladeniya area of Warakapola, along the Colombo-Kandy road.

The injured passengers were taken to Warakapola Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the incident occurred when an SLTB bus traveling from Kandy to Colombo collided with another SLTB bus heading in the opposite direction from Colombo to Kandy.
