Sri Lanka, May 31 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) reports that out of the 55,940 power breakdowns recorded over the past 36 hours, 17,460 have been successfully restored marking a 31% completion rate.
Restoration teams continue to work around the clock to address the remaining outages across the country. The public is urged to report any ongoing power issues through the CEB Care mobile app or by calling the hotline 1987.
CEB Media Spokesman Dhammike Wimalaratne said that all available resources are being deployed to expedite the recovery process and minimize inconvenience to the public.
