Colombo, Nov. 2 -- Thirty-one youths who attended a music concert in the Kimbulawala area, Mirihana, were arrested for possessing drugs, police said.

According to the Mirihana Police, the arrests were made during a concert held at the Kimbulawala Kamatha venue last night, which was attended by more than 500 people.

The Mirihana Divisional Crime Investigation Unit, together with the Mirihana Police, recovered various types of narcotic substances from the possession of the suspects.

The arrested individuals are expected to be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court today (November 2).
