Galle, Jan. 26 -- At least 29 passengers were injured after three buses collided at the Imaduwa-Angulugaha junction in Galle this morning.

The accident occurred around 8:30 am, involving two private passenger buses and a bus transporting office workers.

Police said one bus was stopped when another struck it from behind, causing a chain reaction.

A total of 23 injured passengers were taken to Imaduwa Hospital, while six more were transferred to the Karapitiya Hospital for further treatment.
