Sri Lanka, Jan. 14 -- Delaying the implementation of education reforms will not resolve any matters, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said today.

"Issues pertaining to history and STEM education will not be resolved by delays," Premadasa told the media.

"Neither I nor you, parents or children themselves, are aware of what will become of our children in the future," he said.

He said the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya will be handed over to the Speaker at the appropriate time.
