Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved plans to conduct a national program called 'Sri Lankan Day', aimed at fostering unity and understanding among the country's diverse communities.
The Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs has been tasked with implementing the program, which is scheduled to take place on 12, 13, and 14 December 2025.
The events will cover the Colombo Municipal Council Grounds and Vihara Maha Devi Park, including the surrounding areas, and will be organized across four zones with participation from both public and private sector organizations.
