Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- The President's Fund has announced plans to launch a scholarship programme to support the education of children in Sri Lanka whose parents working overseas have died, become disabled, gone missing, or faced other hardships, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.

The initiative, guided by the concept of "Leaving no one behind in education," will be jointly implemented by the President's Fund, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
