New Delhi, April 30 -- Tobacco Initiative: International Women's Day State events Assam: On International Women's Day, the Consumers' Legal Protection Forum, Assam partnered with Consumer VOICE, New Delhi to host a workshop and slogan competition at the Jyotisikha Mahila Samannay Parishad Auditorium in Panjabari, Guwahati. The event aimed to raise awareness among women professionals from diverse fields including doctors, lawyers, and social activists. The theme of the event was 'Empowering Women towards a Smoke-Free Healthy Future' with a focus on strengthening tobacco control laws to save lives.
