New Delhi, Jan. 14 -- Uber partnered with the Delhi Government to support cleaner commuting choices, rolling out a set of initiatives aimed at nudging residents toward public transport, shared mobility, and electric vehicles as the city looks to curb air pollution and congestion.
The collaboration aligned with the Delhi Government's broader push to reduce private vehicle usage and improve air quality by making sustainable travel options more accessible and convenient for everyday commuters.
As part of the initiative, Uber introduced incentives to encourage first-time use of the Delhi Metro through its app. Riders booking a Metro ticket on Uber for the first time were offered a free ride worth up to Rs.25 until January 18.
