New Delhi, March 23 -- When Shardul Shah on behalf of Index Ventures, initially invested $3.4 million in Wiz when it was incorporated in 2020, little did he realize that a small initial investment alone would fetch 250x return. That $3.5 million alone has now grown to $875 million. But it's just an initial investment, later on, Index Ventures pumped in more in Wiz - in all a total investment of $245 million, resulting in a 12% stake now worth approximately $3.8 billion.

It's any VC's dream. Thanks to Google acquiring Wiz (subject to regulatory approvals) for a whopping $32 billion.
