New Delhi, Nov. 27 -- The Reserve Bank of India has granted final authorisation to Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL) to operate as a payment aggregator, a regulatory green light that lets the One97 Communications unit onboard merchants, run online checkout and manage point-of-sale infrastructure. The Certificate of Authorisation, issued November 26, 2025, closes a three-month regulatory loop that began with an in-principle approval in August.
