Mumbai, Feb. 24 -- Mercedes-Benz recently unveiled the India-spec CLA EV. Bookings for the carmaker's entry-level electric will open on 10 March, and the same will debut its new modular electric architecture.
Set to be available in the sole CLA 250+ variant, the CLE EV will be powered by an 85.5kWh battery pack paired with a 268bhp RWD motor. This results in a 0-100kmph sprint of 6.7 seconds, and a claimed range of 792km. Unlike the vast majority of EVs with a one-speed transmission, the CLA EV will get a two-speed setup.
