Srinagar, Sept. 23 -- Reports of there being a considerable dip in the recruitment of terrorists and hybrid militants in the Kashmir Valley, especially in the Zainpora belt of Kishtwar District, is a matter of relief for the general public long used to living in fear in an unstable environment. It wasn't too long ago when Srinagar, Pulwama and Kishtwar had earned a reputation for being hotbeds of terrorism. For the Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh, to say that most of these areas are now "more or less free of terrorism" is welcome.
