South Africa, March 18 -- "If you want to go fast, go alone... but if you want to go far, go together"- African proverb - is an apt thought for anyone leading a group of people (big or small) towards strategic change or transformation to hold closely. A common pitfall is overemphasising strategy development, while underestimating the role of people in delivering change. Leaders may meticulously define a strategy and design a roadmap for transformation, yet these efforts can be met with resistance, indifference, or apathy.
