India, March 13 -- Telangana is set to launch a dedicated Life Sciences policy in the coming weeks, marking a significant step towards strengthening the state's leadership in the sector.

The announcement was made by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Industries, IT, Electronics, and Communications, during the launch of Tenthpin's new Life Sciences facility in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, Jayesh Ranjan stated that the upcoming policy will chart a bold new growth path for Telangana's Life Sciences industry. It will drive advancements in emerging domains such as cell and gene therapy, genomics, biologics, precision medicine, peptides, digital innovation, and advanced R&D.
