India, Jan. 10 -- A milestone moment took place atBiotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) - Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, as the institute hosted Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, along with Dr Rajesh Gokhale, Secretary-Department of Biotechnology & DG-BRIC.
The Minister presided over three landmark initiatives strengthening India's biotechnology ecosystem. He laid the foundation stone of SAMARTH National Skill Development Centre- envisioned not just as a training hub, but as a centre fordeveloping standardised methodologies and protocolsin DNA fingerprinting, forensic genomics, and molecular diagnostics.
