India and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of regulation of pharmaceutical medical products.

The MoU was signed between the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) of India and the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), marking a significant step towards deeper regulatory cooperation between the two countries.

The Director President, ANVISA, Leandro Safatale and the Indian Ambassador to Brazil, Dinesh Bhatia, exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding in the august presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at Hyderabad House.
