India, July 7 -- Pune-based startup DeepTek, a leading medical imaging AI company, has received a significant recommendation from the World Health Organization (WHO) for its Chest X-ray AI solution for TB screening.

In its latest policy guidance, WHO recommended the solution as meeting the performance standards for Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) softwareused in tuberculosis (TB) screening across both community and facility-based screeningsettings.

This recommendation underscores the solution's clinical reliability, global scalability, and real-world impact-making it one of the few AI tools globally validated for identifying presumptive TB cases rapidly and accurately, particularly in low-resource settings.
