India, June 26 -- Nadiad's Dharmsinh Desai Memorial Methodist Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery has announced the installation of an advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled real-time cardiac view recognition ultrasound system at its centre.

With this, the hospital is now the first in western India to havethe innovative AI-enabled Acuson Origin ultrasound system by Siemens Healthineers.

This technology reduces reliance on traditional Electrocardiogram (ECG) during echocardiography for patients, thereby enhancing patient experience and comfort.
